TweetBacks bridge the gap between blogs and tweets

Last week, Dan Zarrella created the TweetBack - a simple but brilliant solution to connect blog posts and linking tweets.

A TweetBack works like a trackback, except that it tracks tweets that contain links to a particular blog post. That way, a blogger can keep tabs on who tweets about his blog. By having a combination of trackbacks and tweetbacks, a blogger should get a good view of all the buzz that his/her blog is creating. It’ll also provide some insight on what type of content makes for good linkbait.
